Maria - Licensed
Veterinary Technician
A
Petaluma resident since 1980, I was born and raised in San Francisco.
After 12 years in parochial school, I attended a small private college
and earned my Veterinary Technician degree. I became a Licensed
Veterinary Technician after passing the California State Board exam in
1979. I have worked in San Francisco, Marin, and eventually here in
Sonoma County where I joined the team at the Adobe Family Pet Clinic in
1997.
My husband and I have two sons and a Labrador Retriever named “Jake.” I
enjoy photography and whale watching. My weekends are usually filled
with Little League Baseball and CYO Basketball. I love using my
photographic skills in the veterinary hospital by taking pictures of
cute and unusual pets and rare medical conditions.
After being in the veterinary profession for over 25 years, I love that
I am still learning new and exciting things everyday from Dr. Visco and
Dr. Johnson. I feel lucky to be a part of the Adobe Family team. |

Joy - Veterinary
Technician
Choosing to work
directly with animals was a second career for me. I began in 1992 at
the Peninsula Humane Society in San Mateo County. While I enjoyed the
many faceted challenges of Animal Shelter work, I found myself most
fulfilled when working with the physical and medical needs of the
animals. For me, it was a natural progression to begin working for a
veterinarian.
I moved to Sonoma County in 1998 and have been working at Adobe Family
Pet Clinic since then. I find my work with the animals and their people
enjoyable, challenging and most of all very fulfilling. In my spare
time I love gardening, computers, and the company of my cats ("Moses"
and "Baby Jude") and my Italian Greyhound ("Flicka"). |

Lenora - Veterinary
Technician / Client Service Representative
Still
living in the Rohnert Park home I grew up in, I've had many unrewarding
jobs in the past and have now happily settled into the veterinary
profession. I have worked for Dr. Visco since 1999 and I'm still
excited to come to work because I learn so much every day. I feel
extremely lucky to be working with such a wonderful staff.
In my free time, I love being outdoors, taking care of my garden and
playing in the sand at the beach with my children. Cooking is one of my
passions and I often try out new recipes on my four children (even
though they usually prefer McDonalds). With two dogs ("Queenie" and
"Clyde"), three cats ("Jamie," "Punkin," and "Diamy"), fish and a
canary named "Sonny," I have a very full and exciting life. |

Debbi - Client
Service Representative
As far back as I can
remember I have always had a love of animals – all animals. When I was
young I started with small pets like turtles, fish and hamsters and
later progressed to a 113 pound Alaskan malamute that I miss to this
day. Now I enjoy playing with my 2 cats "Kanha," a domestic shorthair,
and "Kiawe," a Bengal. When I lived in Alameda and managed a pet store
for 7 years, I had seven birds of all colors and sizes, a rat, a rabbit
and a 50 gallon fish tank. I first worked as a veterinary receptionist
in Hawaii and joined the Adobe team in 2002 as a client service
representative where I'm excited to meet new people and pets daily. In
my leisure time I enjoy gardening and wine tasting. |

Sherri -
Veterinary Technician / Client Service Representative
I’m originally a
Canadian from Vancouver, B.C. and I moved to Petaluma in 1981. After
graduating from Western Career College in Sacramento, with a degree in
Veterinary Assisting, I began working for veterinarians in Sonoma
County in 1990 and the Adobe team in 1997. I love my job working with
animals because every day I see happy clients taking home their healthy
pets. I have a Mastiff (“Ruby”), a Jack Russell (“Miles”), a Golden
Retriever (“Lucy”) and 3 cats, “Stitch,” “Storm,” and “Dot.” I love
sailing and gardening when I’m not enjoying the company of my husband
and two children. |

Hi!
My name is Talisa. I've been with the Adobe Family Pet Clinic team
since 2006. I grew up on a ranch in Petaluma so I've been around
animals all of my life. I enjoy riding horses, dirt bikes, being
outside with all of my animals and hanging out with friends. I have 4
dogs, 3 cats, 4 goats and lots of cows! I really enjoy working at Adobe
and being able to help all the animals that come in. |
